Good morning everyone!
Today might only be the 9th of September, but out here in the Napa Valley, it's starting to look like November!
It's chilly out there!
So today's post will be about hats & scarves handcrafted by those who want us to keep warm during these cold months and let me tell ya, I will definitely be stocking up this winter season!
The first store I'd like to introduce is called Zantie and she makes all kinds of adorable knits, such as her mini knit bunnie, hearts in a box, and her knitted fuzzy panda.
You can check out her shop at www.zantie.etsy.com.

Shop number two for the day is called Embellishedlife and she makes a wide selection of just adorable hats, bandanas, neck wraps, and scarves.
It was hard just choosing three to show off, but here they are.
To view more of her knitted wonders, visit www.embellishedlife.etsy.com.

Sillylittlelady, the creative mind behind these next few hats & scarves definitely has a sense of humor.
Not to mention compassion for little ones.
She has a line of hats just for kids & babies that are just way too cute.
She also makes funky scarves that are sure to make you smile.
Check her out at www.sillylittlelady.etsy.com.

This shop makes everything from clothes to rugs, and everything just looks so comfy!
Delainie's hats look just as comfy, not to mention cozy for these upcoming cold months.
Check her out at www.delainie.etsy.com.

NORMandLOU don't make very many hats or scarves, but if you can think of it, they can most definitely knit/crochet it.
They have all kinds of warm & fuzzy items in their inventory, it'll make you want to sip some hot coco.
Visit them at www.NORMandLOU.etsy.com.

WoolAndMore is chock full with the cutest wristlets, zipper pulls, and bookmarks, but my favorite items in the shop were their fuzzy scarf and poncho.
See what they have to offer at www.WoolAndMore.etsy.com.

I'm currently at work and it's crazy, so I'll finish up this blog when I get home.

It's All About Hair!
Sep. 8th, 2008 | 08:09 am
For those of you who know my little shop on either myspace or Etsy, you know that I love to make bows.
Today I've decided to dedicate an entire entry to the fabulous bow makers of Etsy that have been kind enough to allow me to feature them in my little blog.
Hopefully, one day, it wont be so little of a blog!
All of the hairclip, bows, or ties are handmade with love and care and I must say that they are absolutely adorable!
Let's begin with 1337art.
She makes everything from funky earrings with coffee cups dangling from them to manly gifttags, but I've got to say that I love her bejeweled flower hairpins.
To see more of her inventory or work visit www.1337art.etsy.com.

Next up is a little shop that brings out the kid in me...or at least that's what it does for me.
It's called Hairflair and this shop owner makes fun designs that a girl any age could have fun with.
Below are a few of my faves which was pretty hard to decide on because she has just so many fave-worthy products from regular little clips to hair ties.
She truely is fabulous and you can see more of her work at www.hairflair.etsy.com.

I love what this next shop has to offer: hair clips with style for the older girls.
Pretty & sophisticated hair clips for buns or just clipping it all back, Tweedy Lane Designs makes a lovely addition to this showcase.
Add style to any outfit with these gorgeous clips.
Not only does she make hair clips, she also makes purses, change bags, and even note cards, all of which can be found at www.tweedylane.etsy.com.

This next shop is a shop that just screams "fun!"
Like most other hair clip makers, this girl makes bows and totes and she makes some pretty cute ones if I don't say so myself.
AmybugsOriginalStyle truely are of original style and lucky for everyone, she's already getting ready for Halloween!
Check out her colorful & vibrant shop at www.AmybugsOrignialStyle.etsy.com and enjoy!

Need something a little more classy for your 'fit?
Check out the clips handcrafted by Anandi.
She makes gorgeous beaded hair clips for those fancier occassions along with some other lovely goodies, such as ladybug magnets for putting pictures onto your fridge with style!
Scope out her shop at www.anandi.etsy.com.

It's hard for me not to love this store!
Tizzalicious has a wide variety of bright & funky jewelry & hair clips for girly girls and pin ups.
Along with all of the talented hairclip designers, this one has definitely made it onto my favorites list.
Her shop is a must-see and you can see it at www.tizzalicious.etsy.com.

For my next shop, I'd like to feature someone who makes a wide variety of hairclips for girls of all ages.
BowsAndBlossoms makes cute little clips for little girls and older girls.
They're fun & colorful & very attractive.
I love these little clippies and hopefully you will, too, after checking out her shop at www.BowsAndBlossoms.etsy.com.

The creative mind of my last shop makes flower clips that'll make you want to pollenate!
PamperingBeki has a supply of lovely flowers that you could wear all year if you wanted to, not frostbite to kill these beauties.
And not only does she make flowers, but also a wonderful array of jewelry for mom's & daughters.
To see her wonderful work, check out www.PamperingBeki.etsy.com.

I hope you all check out these wonderful stores.
They're definitely bookmark worthy!

Take One.

This is my first ever entry on my new livejournal account for my Killer Couture shop.
I used to use my myspace blog, but I decided to get a livejournal account.
It's easier to upload pictures and such on here.
I love it when I sign onto my Etsy and find that more people have either hearted my shop or one of the items that I've put my time and dedication into.
It feels good.
So I've decided to visit the Etsy blogs and recruit different creators/designers of differents products (jewelry, soap, bows, purses, ect.) and feature a different category/item everyday.
I'll post pictures of my favorite items and also, I'll write about products that I've made that I'm particularly excited about.
I really hope that this goes well, so wish me some luck :]
